Days shaped by the water
Discuss lake outings and time to simply enjoy the view. Activities and vessel arrangements should be chosen around your group, comfort and available operators.

Kariba
A Kariba journey is less about a packed schedule and more about the feeling of time well spent. Think quiet mornings, time on the water and evenings made for sharing a meal. Whether you imagine a lakeside stay or would like to explore the possibility of a houseboat experience, we can discuss the kind of setting and arrangements that suit your group.

Experiences to build your trip around
A stay that brings people together
Kariba lends itself to shared meals, family catch-ups and time away with friends. Let the size of the group and the style of the trip guide your accommodation choices.
The quieter kind of escape
Read, rest, take photographs or watch the changing light. Leave a few spaces in the plan for the simple pleasure of not having to be anywhere else.
A suggested journey
An itinerary to make your own
A starting point to personalise, rather than a fixed or available package.
Trade the rush for a lake view
Arrive, settle into your chosen setting and take time to get comfortable. A relaxed first meal and an early evening let everyone ease into the pace.
Make time for the water
Build a day around an optional lake experience, subject to suitable arrangements and conditions. Keep time free afterwards to rest, reconnect and enjoy your surroundings.
One more slow morning
Take breakfast without watching the clock, then leave enough time for the return journey. Extend your stay if the group would rather have another full day than a short escape.

Practical planning notes
Decide on the style of stay
A lakeside property and a houseboat offer different experiences. Share your expectations for space, facilities, privacy and time on the water before comparing options.
Discuss the full journey
Your starting city and preferred way of travelling shape the plan. Include transfers and travel days in the brief, rather than considering only the nights at the destination.
Plan activities with care
Water-based activities depend on operator arrangements and conditions. Confirm safety provisions, inclusions and suitability for your party before accepting a quotation.
